Homeworks magazine, Malta, launched a digital edition of their popular publication. This project encountered the challenges that most print media faces
when adjusting to digital. Maintaining the bold editorial style and stripping out
a lot of the advertising, while presenting the user with an effortless UX that intuitively feels more glossy than the print version.
My role was Technical Art Director, I worked on UX, visual design, photography, image editing and front-end code. I was also tasked with design quality assurance for the magazine. With iPads fresh on the market, Homeworks was expanding into the UK. The goal was to provide a digital version of the popular Maltese home & interior design magazine to a device-savvy UK market in order to attract luxury UK home owner editorial contributors.
